Suwon Advances to Championship Sunday, September 28th , 2042 The fans in Suwon are celebrating the Morning Swords victory over the Brisbane Stevedores in the Divisional. They defeated the Brisbane Stevedores 4-2 in the finale played at The Ship Yard to capture the series 3-1. Ricardo Espinoza was chosen the series' Most Valuable Player. The Morning Swords center fielder batted .294, drove in 2 runs and scored 2 runs in the series. "The Stevedores are a good club and I don't mean any disrespect to their pitching staff, but things just felt easy this series," Espinoza said. "Everything at the plate seemed right." The Suwon Morning Swords don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Gimpo Gorillas - Montserrat Mystique series. That series is tied at 2 games apiece.
