Mogadishu Sweeps into the Championship Saturday, September 27th , 2042 The Mogadishu Pirates are on to the Championship after a convincing series win over the Puerto Plata Pacos. Mogadishu wrapped up the series sweep with a 8-2 win in the last game, to take the series 3-0. "We expected to win and we executed the way we needed to," said Jorge Guzmán, who was named series MVP. For the series, Guzmán hit .444 with a .643 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 5 RBI and scored 4 runs. The Mogadishu Pirates will play against the Djibouti Soldato in the next round.
