IBC Player of the Week Goes to Hughes of Bridgetown Monday, September 22nd , 2042 It was a fantastic week for Bridgetown third baseman Artie Hughes and it was capped off today with the announcement that he was named the winner of the Intercontinental Baseball Coalition Player of the Week Award. Last week Hughes hammered the ball at a torrid .500 pace, going 9-for-18 with 6 home runs, 11 RBIs and 8 runs scored. For the year, Hughes is hitting .267 with 30 home runs. His stats include 64 RBI and 51 runs scored. |
