League Suspends Delgado and Mendiolia for Fisticuffs Monday, September 1st , 2042 Bernardo Delgado of Hobart and Juan Mendiolia of Sunshine Coast were the main participants in a recent bench-clearing brawl and today the league handed out its punishment. Delgado will have to miss 3 games for his part in the brawl, while Mendiolia was given 6 games. League officials announced their suspensions today. To date this season, Delgado is hitting .176 with 4 home runs. This season, Mendiolia has fanned 74 in 91 innings and collected a 4-5 record with a 2.77 ERA. |
