Nakamura Picks up IBC Monthly Pitching Honor Monday, September 1st , 2042 Brisbane Stevedores reliever Sumitomo Nakamura shut down the opposition in August. In doing so, the 19-year-old was called out from the bullpen to nail down the Pitcher of the Month honors in the Intercontinental Baseball Coalition. He made no relief appearances and compiled no saves with a 5-0 mark, 36.2 innings, 40 strikeouts and a 0.74 ERA. This year, Nakamura has registered no saves in no relief appearances. He has also compiled a 7-2 won-lost mark with a 1.49 ERA. In 72.1 innings he has fanned 85. |
