Jeonju Shamans starter Ruggero Bonometti kept the Whales cold all day, shutting them out, 4-0. In a fine outing, the 19-year-old hurler allowed 2 hits while striking out 11 and walking 0. "I'm not quite sure what was different today," Bonometti admitted later. "I didn't feel like I was doing anything differently, but the results speak for themselves."
