League Suspends López and Raikov for Brawl Sunday, July 20th , 2042 António López of the Melbourne Bitters and Roman Raikov of the Wagga Wagga Crows will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 4 and 6 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Bitters-Crows game at Tetsunori Koike Field. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN López and Raikov will begin serving them soon. Looking at his present stats, López has compiled a .140 batting average in 17 games with a .191 on-base percentage, while hitting 2 home runs and driving in 6 runs. Here are his stats for this season: Raikov has chalked up no saves and fashioned a record of 4 wins and 1 losses with a 3.82 ERA. He has made no relief appearances, thrown 35.1 innings and struck out 25. |
