Woodruff Smacks 3 Out of the Park Tuesday, June 17th , 2042 Every now and then, everything just comes together. Jarrod Woodruff discovered that today at Ramses II Ballpark, as he smashed three home runs during the 12-5 Mogadishu Pirates win over the Cairo Pharaohs. "I got three balls to hit and nailed all three of them," the Mogadishu third baseman said in his postgame interview. "The first was a hanging curve, the second was right down the middle and the last one was a good pitch, but I guessed right and put the wood to it." Woodruff finished the day with 4 hits in 4 at-bats and 6 RBIs. Jarrod Woodruff hit a solo-shot off Juan Montoya in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off José Blanco in the 5th and hit a two-run home run off Marty Thompson in the 6th. |
