Breaking WIL News: Playoffs begin Thursday, October 16th , 2042 With the playoffs mere hours away, each of the contenders are putting their game faces on. It's time for ballplayers to leave it all on the field. In the World Independant League playoffs, miracles do happen, but most often it's simply the team that plays better baseball that goes home with the prize -- the much-coveted Round 3 championship. The Round 1 starts today with these games: Boise Remuda vs Tacoma Loggers, Portland Chinook vs Sacramento Deltas, Edo Battousai vs Kuwana Steel Dragons and Taipei Wardens vs Gwangju Jade Tigers. |
