Kure Eliminated from Playoff Contention Monday, October 6th , 2042 Opinions were split on the Kure Arsenal this season, with some figuring they were true Round 3 contenders and others thinking they would fade away. The latter group has been proven correct, as the club is now mathematically eliminated from postseason contention. Before this season, the Arsenal had made the playoffs 8 times in a row. In the 19 years they have been a World Independant League franchise, they have missed the playoffs 9 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Arsenal have only missed the playoffs once.
