Red-Hot Pitcher Chills Out on Award Wednesday, October 1st , 2042 Víctor Oliver prevailed in BNN's Humboldt Rookie of the Month voting today. The Long Beach starter amassed some solid numbers last month to claim the award. He put together a 4-0 record, a 2.79 ERA and 29 strikeouts in 38.2 innings and gave up 17 walks. Opposing hitters had a .225 average against him. So far this season, Oliver has 6 wins and 2 losses and a 3.21 ERA. |
