AC Best Manager is Sato of the Battlecats Saturday, June 14th , 2042 The Canuck HS Battlecats called a press conference to announce that field manager Ichiyo Sato had been named Atlantic Conference Manager of the Year earlier in the day. Staffers congratulated the 59-year-old baseball guru as he approached the podium. "This city has allowed me to craft a winning ball club," said Sato. "When you take on a new job, there's always some adjustment period, but everyone here has been cooperative. From the bat boys on up. Here's to many more successful seasons for the Canuck HS Battlecats!" Sato led Canuck HS to a 33-15 record this year and a first place finish in the Atlantic Conference Canadian Division. |
