Skipper Sugiyama Told to Go, Sacked by Kings Tuesday, June 3rd , 2042 Collegio San Carlo has fired manager Nobuhito Sugiyama. "We were not doing the things you've got to do every day," Kings general manager told reporters. "We saw that things were not going to change. We had huge expectations coming into the season and we did not live up to them." The current coaching staff will be assigned to run the ballclub in the interim until a new manager can be hired. Sugiyama was told of his dismissal yesterday morning and was not available for comment. The Collegio San Carlo spokesman called it a "sensitive and emotional" meeting with Sugiyama -- and would not discuss whether Sugiyama would be offered another job in the Kings system. |
