Kian-zhi Xie Out for 5-6 Months Sunday, May 11th , 2042 A blow for Kian-zhi Xie today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 5-6 months with shoulder inflammation. Xie suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Taitung HS Hermits are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Xie's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. This year, Xie has earned no saves, worked 25.2 innings, fanned 22 hitters and recorded a 4.91 ERA. He has also put up a 3-0 won-lost mark. |
