Strathcona HS's Anderson Will Miss Season
Friday, April 11th , 2042
"I'm frustrated right now," said Strathcona HS reliever Tony Anderson. "I can't help this team by sitting on the bench or in the training room." Unfortunately for the Leopards, that's where he will be spending 10 months. Anderson suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow in today's game against Island HS while throwing a pitch. "Believe me," he said, "I won't be out a day longer than I have to be."
For the season, Anderson has made 9 relief appearances, recorded 1 save, compiled a 1-0 won-lost mark and a 0.56 ERA. In pitching 16 innings, he has totaled 16 strikeouts and 6 walks.
