Four-bagger Feast: Weng Slugs 3 for Tainan City HS Sunday, March 9th , 2042 Fans are still buzzing after Tainan City HS whipped the Rockingham HS Settlers by the score of 12-2 at Settlers Stadium. Liu-liang Weng smashed three home runs in the contest, a feat that would be a career highlight for most players and few fans ever see. In a tremendous performance, the left fielder bashed out 4 hits in 5 at-bats, had 5 RBIs and scored 3 times. At the postgame press conference, Weng said it was an "unbelievable" feeling to hit three home runs in a game. "Getting one homer is special, and two is great," Weng said. "Three is just... wow." Liu-liang Weng hit a solo-shot off Edwin Hancock in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Edwin Hancock in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Ta-kai Zhang in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th. |
