Colossus Heading to Round 2 Monday, April 29th , 2041 The South Kamloops HS Colossus outclassed the Nassau HS Coasters in all facets of the game throughout the AC Round 1. The end result was a South Kamloops HS series sweep to advance to the Round 2, capped off by a 9-3 win in the final game. "We're a bit surprised it's over in a sweep, to be honest with you," said first baseman Conor Sandhoff, who hit .353 in the series. Sandhoff's standout effort garnered him MVP honors. He also put up a .353 on-base percentage and had 2 home runs, drove in 5 RBI and scored 2 runs. The South Kamloops HS Colossus don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Bogaerts Bricklayers - Gonaives HS Revolution series. That series is tied at 2 games apiece. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
