Island HS Won't Make Playoffs Tuesday, April 23rd , 2041 The mood in the Island HS Wonders clubhouse was noticeably subdued today, as the club's fate on the season was officially sealed -- they will miss the postseason. "We put ourselves in this position," said Wonders shortstop Víctor Moya. "Nobody to blame but us." Island HS last appeared in the postseason in 2039. This is their 2nd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 14 times in their 21-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Wonders have made the playoffs 2 times. Island HS last won the Round 4 in 2029. |
