Nie Tops PL Best Player List Thursday, June 12th , 2042 Ju-zheng Nie took International Collegiate Baseball Association by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 20. For his spectacular campaign, the Taiwan Tech University Typhoon star has been named the 2042 Pacific League Outstanding Hitter Award recipient. The native of Chungli, Taiwan also added 14 doubles, no triples, 19 home runs, 47 RBIs and 44 runs scored. He received 25 first place votes out of a possible 28. Yukio Koike of the Aoyama Gakuin Mighty Missionaries finished second in voting with 3 first place votes, while Kiminobu Ushijima of the Hosei University Avocat finished third.
