Chong Garners PL Top Skipper Award Tuesday, June 10th , 2042 The Taiwan Tech University Typhoon called a press conference to announce that field manager Hwan-mo Chong had been named Pacific League Manager of the Year earlier in the day. Staffers congratulated the 59-year-old baseball guru as he approached the podium. "This city has allowed me to craft a winning ball club," said Chong. "When you take on a new job, there's always some adjustment period, but everyone here has been cooperative. From the bat boys on up. Here's to many more successful seasons for the Taiwan Tech University Typhoon!" Chong led Taiwan Tech University to a 37-17 record this year and a first place finish in the Pacific League Supreme Division. |
