According to club doctors D'antonio has shoulder inflammation. Although D'antonio has declined to comment, sources close to the player have stated that he is "devastated" that he will miss the playoffs. D'antonio has made 11 starts so far this year and put up a 5-1 won-lost record with a 0.86 ERA. In 63 innings he has allowed 50 hits, walked 5 and struck out 64. |
