Physicists Dominate, Sweep Round 1 Friday, May 9th , 2042 It's a sweet sweep for the ETH Zurich Physicists and they have won the Round 1. The Cambridge Light Blues were not able to keep pace with the Physicists and dropped the series in short order, losing, 3-2, in the deciding game. "This wasn't really the effort we hoped for," said Cambridge manager Scott Simpson. It's now on to the Round 2 for ETH Zurich after their 4-0 series win. Leading the way for the winners was catcher Takiji Tanaka, who was named MVP. For the series, Tanaka hit .375 with a .474 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 5 RBI and scored 5 runs. The ETH Zurich Physicists don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Pontificia Universidad Padres - Chatham-Kent Canada Black Bears series.
