Tom O'Duffy Hurt, Out for Year Tuesday, April 22nd , 2042 The season is ending on a bad note for Tom O'Duffy, starting pitcher for the Sarnia Canada Baysiders. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. O'Duffy was hurt against the Aix-Marseille Universite Geckos while throwing a pitch. He suffered shoulder inflammation and will be out for at least 5 months. O'Duffy has made 11 starts so far this year and put up a 2-3 won-lost record with a 2.32 ERA. In 54.1 innings he has allowed 61 hits, walked 7 and struck out 27. |
