The team has fallen short of its playoff goals this year, being officially eliminated from the playoffs today. "I feel like we have a great group," Troika manager Yong-sup Chong said. "We happened to come up short or our goal, though. We'll re-tool and be back stronger next season." Meiji University last appeared in the postseason in 2039. This is their 3rd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 16 times in their 22-year history.
