Black Bears Halt House Hit Streak Sunday, April 13th , 2042 The 20-game hitting streak is over. Sarnia Canada Baysiders center fielder Dave House failed to get a hit against the Chatham-Kent Canada Black Bears and had his consecutive-game hitting streak broken. The 18-year-old went 0-for-2 in his club's 8-0 victory over the Black Bears at Bayside Ballpark. "I think I only made it to 20 games because I got lucky once or twice," he said. "So I guess I can't complain too much that I got unlucky and broke the streak." House is hitting .361 this season with 4 home runs, 29 RBIs and 19 runs scored. He has 52 hits in 144 at-bats. |
