Paek Rips 3 HR Sunday, April 13th , 2042 It was a good day for the Jeju City University Eruption and an exceptional one for Pyeong-kyu Paek. The 21-year-old right fielder sent three bombs out of the park to help the Eruption beat the Aoyama Gakuin Mighty Missionaries, 11-4, at Caracals Stadium. "When you're in the zone, the game really slows down," Paek said when asked about his performance later. "I couldn't even tell you what pitches were thrown. Today feels great, but it is a long season and tomorrow is another day." For the day, he scored 4 times, drove in 7 runs and smacked 5 hits in 5 at-bats. Pyeong-kyu Paek hit a solo-shot off Jonathan Solano in the 2nd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Jonathan Solano in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Shinzo Tanaka in the 5th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. In 14 games this year, Paek has posted a .344 average and put up these numbers: 3 home runs, 8 RBIs and 5 runs scored. |
