House Hits in 20 Straight Games Saturday, April 12th , 2042 Dave House ran his hitting streak to 20 straight games at Bayside Ballpark, when he collected 1 hit in 3 at-bats. The feat came, however, as the Sarnia Canada Baysiders dropped the game, 1-0, to the Chatham-Kent Canada Black Bears. "Hey, the streak is great -- I hope it never ends," House said later. "But I'm not happy to lose the game." Dave House singled in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th and was hit by a pitch in the 9th. For the year, House has hit at a .366 clip with 27 RBIs, 4 home runs and 19 runs scored. |
