Boys Triet Hurt, Out for Year Friday, April 11th , 2042 The doctors have spoken and Boys Triet of the Delft Engineers didn't like what he heard. The 20-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Triet sustained his season-ending injury during the Windsor Canada Goths game yesterday at Ballpark of Sakado College. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Delft medical staff reported Triet had shoulder inflammation and would be absent from the lineup for at least 5 months. This season, Triet has chalked up no saves, notched a 0-1 record with a 1.86 ERA, allowed 6 hits in his 9.2 innings of work, struck out 7 and walked 2. Opponents are hitting .176 against the Delft hurler. |
