Puente Hit Streak Reaches 25 Games Thursday, March 27th , 2042 Mario Puente of the Instituto Politecnico Nacional Mules extended his hitting streak to 25 straight games with 2 hits in today's 4-1 triumph over the Atletico Castille Sociedad Deportiva Leones at Matto College Grounds. "Mario has been making it easy for me to pencil his name in the lineup every day," Mules manager Pablo Rojas joked after the game. Mario Puente singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th, flied out in the 7th and flied out in the 9th. Puente has a .398 average and a .440 on-base percentage for the year.
