Suspensions Handed Out for Bench-Clearing Brawl Sunday, March 23rd , 2042 Yesterday at Bayside Ballpark Min-jae Hwang and Todd Miller got into each other's space and then into each other's face. They began to grapple and fell to the ground. That's when it boiled over into a full-fledged bench-clearing tussle between the Sarnia Canada Baysiders and Hamilton Canada Terrors. Reason finally prevailed as the umpires restored order. After much discussion, only the two major combatants were ejected from the game. Today the league office notified the ballclubs that Hwang will have to sit out 4 while Miller would be given a 6-game suspension for their roles in the brawl. This season, Hwang has hit no home runs and posted a .218 batting average. This season, Miller has compiled a 1-1 record with a 4.50 ERA. |
