Trujillo Alto-San Juan Announce Deal
Wednesday, February 19th , 2042
The Trujillo Alto Maracas and San Juan Sharks have put the finishing touches on a deal that was weeks in the making. Trujillo Alto will part with 28-year old 1B Ramón Miranda, while the Sharks have dealt 30-year old 1B Jackson Spence.
"This one took a while to figure out," said Trujillo Alto general manager Ichizo Shirai. "We must have gone back to the drawing board five or six times over the past few weeks. I'm glad we finally got the deal done. I think it is a good one for both clubs."
Miranda has a lifetime .301 average and .383 on-base percentage in his career with 88 hits, 13 doubles, 3 triples, 5 home runs, 51 RBIs and 40 runs scored.
Spence has a lifetime .220 batting average and .316 on-base percentage in his 198-game career with 50 hits and 1 home run.
