Puente, Prado Swap Teams Friday, May 23rd , 2042 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Depredadores del Peravia announced today the acquisition of 28-year old 2B Pancho Prado, 23-year old CF Juan Díaz, and 19-year old 2B Salvador Ayala from the La Vega Luchadors de las Calles in exchange for 28-year old 1B Carlos Puente. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Depredadores del Peravia, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." Puente has chalked up a career batting average of .294 with 148 hits, 14 homers and 61 RBIs. |
