Done Deal: Morales for Murillo Thursday, January 9th , 2042 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Luchadors de las Calles announced today the acquisition of 28-year old 2B Jorge Murillo from the Moca Segadoras de Cafe in exchange for 29-year old 1B José Morales and 22-year old 3B Tony Flores. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Luchadors de las Calles, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." Lifetime Morales is batting .245 and has hit 7 home runs. In his career, Murillo has compiled a .257 batting average and collected 95 hits, 11 home runs and 57 RBIs. |
