António López smashed three home runs in the contest, a feat that would be a career highlight for most players and few fans ever see. In a tremendous performance, the left fielder bashed out 4 hits in 5 at-bats, had 4 RBIs and scored 3 times. At the postgame press conference, López said it was an "unbelievable" feeling to hit three home runs in a game. "Getting one homer is special, and two is great," López said. "Three is just... wow." António López hit a two-run home run off Héctor Bravo in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off José García in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Armando Valdéz in the 9th.
