Gonzáles Selected Top Performer in ABSF-MEX Monday, September 1st , 2042 Carlos Gonzáles did nothing to hurt his value as an upcoming free agent last week, making contact with the ball at every opportunity and reeling in the Alianza Beisbol Al Sur de la Frontera Player of the Week Award. The first baseman hit .526 for the Adelantados, recording 10 hits in 19 at-bats, 2 home runs, 8 RBIs and 4 runs scored. Thus far this year, Gonzáles is batting .228 with 5 home runs, 14 RBIs and 11 runs scored. |
