Suspensions Handed Out for Bench-Clearing Brawl Friday, August 29th , 2042 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Naucalpan-Ecatepec contest at Café Tacvbas Ballpark. The Cafe Tacvbas José Acevedo and the Morelos Martín González will have to sit out 4 and 6 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. For the year, Acevedo is hitting .157 with 2 home runs. His stats include 6 runs batted in and 7 runs scored. González has made 6 starts, tossed 27.2 innings, struck out 16 batters and walked 11. His record is 1-0 with a 3.25 ERA and he has limited other teams to a .212 batting average. |
