Torrenas Ramos Decides to Retire Sunday, August 3rd , 2042 It's a somber day for Torrenas fans as Júlio Ramos announced that he will retire at the end of the 2042 season. The Zapopan reliever attributed his retirement to his age and loss of skills. "I'm not the type of player I want to be anymore," he said. "It's harder go out there and be competitive. I'm not at the end of my rope yet, but I've seen guys hang around too long. I'm not going to be one of them." In his career, Ramos has registered 61 wins and 54 losses with 5 saves. His lifetime ERA stands at 3.16 with 677 strikeouts and 291 walks in 1103.1 innings. |
