Billings West HS Ace Wins WL Outstanding Pitcher Award Thursday, June 12th , 2042 The Western League announced today that Garrett Gray has been chosen the Outstanding Pitcher Award winner for 2042. The Billings West HS hurler had everything working for him as he cruised to an outstanding 5-1 record. Gray put up an impressive 1.48 ERA in his award-winning season. He started 11 times, worked 54.2 innings, yielded 55 hits, walked 6, fanned 28 and held opposing hitters to a .263 average. He received 27 first place votes out of a possible 44. Dylan Miles of the Boone HS Matadors finished second in voting with 16 first place votes, while Ángel Martínez of the Lakewood HS Lancers finished third with 1 first place vote.
