Thunderhawks Prevail, as Round 1 Goes to the Wire Saturday, May 3rd , 2042 It was a rousing finish to the Round 1 at Thunderhawk Field today. The Tumwater HS Thunderhawks sent the De La Salle HS Myrmidon home for the season with a 7-3 win in the decisive game of the series. The Thunderhawks took the series 4-3. Up next on their schedule is the Round 2. Hauling in the MVP trophy was Tumwater HS center fielder Tim Draper. His numbers included a .364 batting average, 4 RBIs and 3 runs. "With any luck, I'll be hoisting another one of these at the end of the Round 2," he said. The Tumwater HS Thunderhawks don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Jesuit HS Corsairs - Billings West HS Lookouts series. That series is tied at 3 games apiece. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
