Winter Springs HS Sweeps into the Round 2 Monday, April 28th , 2042 With a 7-0 win to wrap up the series at Field of the Bears, the Winter Springs HS Bears have eliminated the South Caldwell HS Spartans in the Round 1 and move on to the Round 2. Winter Springs HS controlled the series from the outset and won it in a 4-0 sweep. Tom Tucker led the charge offensively for the victors, winning series MVP honors. He posted a .500 batting average, along with a .500 on-base percentage. He had 4 home runs, drove in 7 RBI and scored 5 runs. "We're not done yet," the MVP said. "There is still a lot to accomplish." The Winter Springs HS Bears don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the West Lauderdale HS Knights - Union City HS Hillers series.
