John Ritter Strokes 3 Home Runs Sunday, April 20th , 2042 John Ritter went on an explosive hitting spree against the Seton Hall Prep Pirates at Pirates Ballpark, launching a trio of blasts to help the Cy-Fair HS Bobcats win, 9-3. The third baseman finished 3-for-5 with 3 runs scored and 4 runs batted in. "It was just one of those days," Ritter said in a postgame interview. "I don't know how to explain it. I'm just putting a good swing on the ball." Seton Hall Prep skipper Juan Román said Ritter was "locked-in." "We made some pretty good pitches," he said. "Those first two homers were exactly where the pitcher wanted to put them. He's just hot right now -- you've just got to tip your hat to him." John Ritter struck out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Aubrey Vinson in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Stan Howard in the 4th, flied out in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Chris Banks in the 8th. Ritter is batting .339 this year with 13 home runs, 26 RBIs and 40 runs scored. He has 58 hits in 171 at-bats. |
