Collier Hits 3 Homers Against Barbe HS Wednesday, April 16th , 2042 Scott Collier was sending souvenirs to the sun gods all game long in the 6-3 Klein-Collins HS Hellcats triumph at Ballpark of Barbe HS. The 15-year-old put on a show for fans, launching not one, not two, but three home runs into the stands and powering the Hellcats past the Barbe HS Buccaneers. "One homer's good, two's great, three's out of sight," Collier told BNN reporters after the game. "I can't wait until next game. I really feel good at the plate." The catcher went 3-for-4, rung up 4 RBIs and scored 3 runs on his record-setting day. Scott Collier hit a solo-shot off Gerald MacPherson in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Gerald MacPherson in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Mathew Brown in the 6th and flied out in the 8th. This year, Collier is hitting .244, produced 17 RBIs and 11 home runs, scored 19 times and gotten on base at a .353 rate. |
