League Suspends Hancock and Farrell for Brawl Monday, April 7th , 2042 If there wasn't a history between Patrick Hancock of Sprague HS and Greg Farrell of Tumwater HS, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 3 and 7 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today. "We're both really competitive," Hancock said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it." Hancock currently has a .283 batting average with 39 hits, 6 homers, 16 RBIs, 19 runs scored and a .344 OBP. For the season, Farrell has made 6 relief appearances, recorded no saves, compiled a 0-0 won-lost mark and a 7.30 ERA. In pitching 12.1 innings, he has totaled 12 strikeouts and 5 walks. |
