League KO's Lancers-Matadors Players with 4-Game Suspensions Sunday, April 6th , 2042 There was a heated confrontation yesterday at Boone Ballpark between the Lancers and Matadors that resulted in ejections and suspensions. Brad Armstrong of Lakewood HS and Marvin Palmer of Boone HS were issued 4-game suspensions by the league office for initiating the on-field disturbance. For the season, Armstrong has produced 17 hits in 79 at-bats for a .215 average with no home runs and gotten on base at a .323 clip. |
