Trujillo Slams 3 Deep for Chatsworth HS Monday, March 24th , 2042 Today was a special one for Jesús Trujillo of the Chatsworth HS Chancellors as he slammed three home runs in the 12-7 Chancellors win over the Bellevue West HS Surge. "Lately, I've been uppercutting the ball too much," he said to sportswriters after the game. "I would hit it hard, but they just went sky high and stayed in the ballpark. No big long outs for me in this game. I leveled out my swing and connected on the sweet spot. I knew they were gone the minute I hit 'em." The Chatsworth HS first baseman collected 3 hits in 5 at-bats, drove in 7, and scored 3 runs in the contest at Ballpark of Chatsworth HS. Jesús Trujillo hit a solo-shot off Jorge Morales in the 2nd, struck out in the 3rd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Don Dickerson in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Harvey Richter in the 8th. Thus far this year, Trujillo has hit .200 with 4 home runs and 13 RBIs. |
