Hits Galore: Jenkins Drills 5 Hits Monday, March 24th , 2042 Chuck Jenkins was on fire, sparking his club to a win, 20-14, over the Knights. The Seton Hall Prep right fielder was a tough out and went 5-for-5 against West Lauderdale HS in a fine hitting display. "I got my pitches and I connected. They all found the right holes on the diamond. Some days you hit shots and they're right at somebody and some days they fall in." Chuck Jenkins singled in the 1st, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, walked in a run in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Larry Rose in the 8th. So far in 2042 Jenkins is batting .313 with 7 home runs, 19 RBIs and 15 runs scored. He has 26 hits in 83 at-bats and a .380 OBP. View Boxscore |
