Huff Pops 3 Out of the Park Against Rapids Thursday, March 13th , 2042 Fans at Ballpark of Bishop Moore HS got an impromptu firework display courtesy of Bishop Moore HS Hornets left fielder Tim Huff. He belted a trifecta of home runs to power his club to victory, 13-1, over the James River HS Rapids. In the win, Huff stunned the Rapids pitching staff for 3 hits in 5 at-bats and knocked in 6 runs. "It was the best kind of day," Huff said after the game. "I hardly had to work for it. Hitting today was a piece of cake, with lots of extra icing on it." Tim Huff hit a solo-shot off Culley Compton in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Ed Bell in the 7th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Ernie Childers in the 7th. This year, Huff has hit at a .392 clip with 12 RBIs, 4 home runs and 15 runs scored. |
