SP Eric Jones Out Sunday, May 5th , 2041 The Yerington HS Skeeters will be minus Eric Jones for about 10 months after the starting pitcher suffered a torn labrum while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Sprague HS Torchbearers. Jones and Skeeters skipper Raúl Mendoza had been hoping the post-game examination would show less damage than originally thought. To date this season, Jones has compiled a 3-3 record with a 2.16 ERA in 10 starts. |
