In a back-and-forth Round 1 that went to the final game, the Cavaliers prevailed at Cy-Fair HS Grounds today to advance to the Round 2. East Rutherford HS won the deciding game 3-2 to capture the series 4-3. "In a series that close, you feel fortunate to come out on top of it," said Jim Peters, who was named series MVP.
