April's Premier Batter Announced Wednesday, May 1st , 2041 William Russell may be much younger than other hitters in the Eastern League, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in April to win the Batter of the Month award. The 18-year-old Katy HS right fielder hit .300 with 10 home runs, 18 RBIs and 14 runs scored. Russell is currently hitting at a .294 pace with 18 home runs and 36 RBIs. He has played in 47 games and scored 29 times. |
